The Karitos Showcase accepts work in dance, mime, theater, and film. You may submit a video or DVD of the piece(s) you wish to perform to; Morna Gallagher, 1122 Brentwood Lane, Wheaton, IL. 60187. Any question, please email Morna at morna@karitos.com or call 630-653-7102

Dance and mime submissions are limited to three, no longer than 5 minute each and theater and film submission should be no longer then 10 minute.

Deadline for submission is May 1, 2006 The showcase is an opportunity for the any artist or team to share the work the Lord is doing with them to the body of Christ. We welcome beginners through masters. We want to encourage all artists, no matter what level, to bring what it is the Lord is doing in their lives and share it with the rest of us.

A screening committee will view all the work that is submitted and everyone will be called with what the committee recommends. If a piece is not selected for the showcase there are other opportunities this year to share you work. Everything is welcome. Be brave. We are all in this together for the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ. Come and worship with us as we lift up His name as one body.

Who you are, as a Vessel to proclaim the Lord’s Glory, and what you achieve, with excellence, literally “makes or breaks” the Visual Arts part of our conference.

The deadline for entries and registration information have both changed. Please bring or send what you want to share, even if you cannot attend and we will find a place to show your work, if at all possible. Deadline is May 31. The registration form is available here.

Friday and Saturday, June 2 and 3 from 2:45 - 5:15 pm
The Karitos Coffee House is an open mic - we provide the mic and you provide the art. Be it comedy, worship, music, poetry reading, story telling, mime, or improv, anything uplifting and God honoring is welcome. Come and share your gifts in 10-15 minute segments, depending on how many people sign up. Sign up the day of the coffee house or if you would like to sign up in advance, send an email to paul@pbforj.com, including name and type of presentation. Tape/CD player provided for performance tracks.
