Carolyn Hart is an active singer, teacher and church musician. Along with her teaching at Wheaton College, she is a busy clinician offering master classes in the Chicago area and throughout Canada. Her singing has brought her to Asia,Great Britain, France as well as Canada and the U.S.

Tony Payne is the Director of the Music Conservatory at Wheaton College, as well as a composer and church musician. Recent compositions include Psalm 71, And There Was War in Heaven, and numerous songs and hymns. He embraces music literacy and liberal participation in worship.
A New Song: Improvisation in Worship
Improvisation is one of the elemental skills for artists, liturgists and preachers, but instills terror in many. The purpose of this session is to open the door to simple concepts, providing everyone a place to start as improvisers.

Theology, Practice and Caring in Worship
These three terms summarize the requirements of artists, liturgists and preachers when engaging congregations in worship. This session will engage participants in the development of a framework by which to interpret and value diverse aspects of worship.
