He has been featured in numerous Television Talk Shows , Radio Stations, Newspaper Articles, and other media; his unique and charismatic style of signing has led him to receive unlimited awards to his credit in the field of Sign Language.

While working closely with many of our Political Leaders such as Congressman Danny K. Davis of the 7th Congressional District of Illinois, and Senator Barack Obama and Bill Doc Walls on the “Committee for a Better Chicago, doors began to open to ensure that those who are deaf can now be aware of and receive the same Services as the hearing, Thanks be to God for the Signing Skills of Reverend Bester.

“Often Imitated but never Duplicated” Reverend Bester is the first and only African American Sign Interpreter to be selected to sign for a President of the United States

Being an ordained minister, he has been very instrumental as a Consultant, Advocate, Speaker and Mentor to both Males and Females, both deaf and hearing; “Teaching them how to follow their dream” by working for themselves.

Reverend Bester is said to be the most sought after Sign Interpreter in his field today, along with holding the title “World Regional Light Heavy Weight Boxing Champ” where in the ring he is known as “DON THE BOMB”

He continues to give back to the youth in the Community by providing on going Sign Language classes as well as teaching Boxing and Physical Fitness at his “Boxing Boot Camp” which includes young Children, Youth and Adults, both Male and Female and Deaf as well as Hearing, helping to keep Youth off the street.
